Bio

I am the current President of the Dover Cemetery Association. I have been updating the record for the Dover Cemetery using all the old records available. This process is current as of 10-15-2012.
The Dover Cemetery in 2013 is involved in a campaign to raise capital for 3 projects.
We would like to obtain a marker to recognize the area we have that was used during the 1918 flu epidemic. This area was basically an open grave and currently has no Marker.
Our entrance columns are crumbling and need replaced.
Redo the landscaping along the State Road next to the High School.
If you have family buried at Dover and would like to contribute E-mail me through Find-A-Grave.
My Son A.Rice had added a lot during his years in 4-H. We have recently converted the old records to computer using a program he wrote. It allows us to sort by plot number or by last name for easy sorting of information. We are using it to keep track of plots and lots sold. It also has an active map. It will also keep track of our veterans, allowing us to easily print a list for flags on Memorial day. This program also lets us add pictures of the grave stones as an easy reference when making additions or working in a lot. It has made finding information about a grave or family much easier.
