Born 1951 in Tacoma Washington, retired to Brighton Colorado in 2010 where we reside today. We have 3 biological children and adopted 7 more children for a total of 10 children. We were Foster parents for 37 years with over 1400 children living in our home through out those years. We raised my niece also during that time and another child whom we were legal guardians for and still are. We were honored with the "2003 National Parents of the Year" Award in Washington D.C. in July of 2003. information on that at www.parentsday.com

We also have eight grandchildren at this time.
