I have been interested in family history since my youth. I have deep roots in the city of Norfolk, and Southampton County, Virginia, along with other places.' I love the feeling of connection I get when I visit the resting places of my forebears.

I lived for 35 years in Stow, MA and became very interested in the history there. I was active in the Stow Minutemen historical reenacting group, and did a lot of research on the Revolutionary War period in Stow. To that end, I photographed in 2013 every stone still in the Lower Cemetery. I have posted every legible stone. I have also posted information about graves that are no longer visible or legible that I've been able to document.

I hope that some of this is of use to descendants of these people. Especially for the graves in Stow, I'm not related. If you are, please feel free to request a transfer.
