I love doing genealogy. It's a passion of mine. I started researching my family tree about 14 years ago. I believe that everyone should know where they came from and no one should be forgotten.

I love doing all the research & linking information together....it's like a big puzzle. I absolutley love old family photos. I love going to graveyards of my ancestors to photograph the headstones. We never know how long the stones will survive so I want to document them. My 12 year old daughter loves to go with me. Now thanks to findagrave I can help other people too.

My ancestors came from Scotland, Germany & Switzerland. They came over to a place that was suppose to be a Promise Land but when they got here, it was nothing but wilderness. My Zwahlen ancestors from Switzerland helped settle Ottenheim, KY and my family still lives there today. My grandmother Lena Virginia "Babe" Zwahlen Doss just recently passed away at age 96 and I will not let anything be forgotten. Hopefully my daughter will carry on after I'm gone. Hopefully I'll have many more years of research to do.
