I am happily married and live in the North Atlanta area after living in many other states and I have relatives spread all over the U.S.

I started exploring genealogy more seriously in order to find long-lost relatives on my wife's side of the family. As a result, I have focused less on going way back in history and more on identifying nearer relatives.

I have been privileged to be able to open up some amazing parts of our family history and even meet in person some great relatives we never knew about. My focus now is not just on discovering new facts, but on making family information available to as many family members as possible, even those not really interested in "genealogy" and those not highly computer literate. In this regard, Find A Grave has been a great tool, as it can make it easy to link together our family tree, provide a picture of each person and their memorial site, and add information easily accessible to the average Internet user.

I have limited time for this little hobby, but would be glad to do anything I can to help others collect information or create a complete memorial site for their own family members.
