Bio

I wouldn't call myself a genealogist, but rather, someone who has the results of decades of genealogy research conducted by others. My grandfather, H.C. Gray, and mother, Dorothy Gray Christoffersen, researched families including (but not limited to) Gray, Grant, Ringgold, Brooks, Carter, Carothers, Ussery, Alsup, Mayfield, Goad, Irwin, White, Whitworth, Calvert, etc., through MS, TN, GA, NC, VA, MD, and such back to the 1600-1700's. My father's sister & their uncle compiled much information about their Christoffersen, Mortensen, Jacobsen, and Sorensen families who emigrated from Denmark in the late 1800's. I am interested in preserving & sharing family history & filling in the blanks. Unfortunately, I have little time to research documents at courthouses & libraries outside of Middle TN. Having seen plenty of inaccurate "information" on the internet, I take everything not documented with a grain of salt.
