Bio

I grew up in Amherst, Massachusetts where my father's grandfather came from Poland in 1900. My mom grew up in Bingham, Maine, a small town in northern Maine, where my grandparents' family had lived in or around for many generations, settling some areas. My grandmother's family had originally come to this country in the early 1600s and settled many towns in Massachusetts before eventually going to Maine. Her mother was French-Canadian, and my grandfather's family came from Ireland through Quebec.

I have lived in the mid-Michigan area where my husband's family is from for most of the last 33 years, and have studied our family history for several years now. I am a new member of Find-A-Grave and find it a very helpful resource for discovering more about our ancestry. I hope to expand my membership as I learn more about how to use this site.

Since 2014, I now live in Daytona Beach, Florida, and after several years of not being actively researching my genealogy, I am back at it again, at least some of the time.
