Raised in trimbelle on the Nelson Farm. My Great Grandma was Rose Kochendorfer Keller, Trimbelle resident, who at age 9 survived the 1862 Indian Uprising in Morton MN area. Her parents, Johan and Catherine Kochendorfer and baby sister Sarah were killed in the uprising on their farm. Rose and brother John and sisters Margaret and Catherine ran into the ravine and made it to Ft Ridgely. Rose ended up with the Keller family in Trimbelle and married Ted Keller. One of her daughters is my grandma Erma Keller Nelson. Erma's son is my Dad Boyd Nelson married to Martha Huppert.
