Native Californian--northern. Attended school at UC Davis and spent a lot of years teaching the little ones.
Three of my four grandparents were born out of this country so I have family all over the globe, Grunders from Switzerland, Williams/Laity from Cornwall, England, and Hansen/Puschel from Denmark/New Zealand, (Grandfather Emil Hansen changed his name from Püschel to his mother's maiden name of Hansen. My other grandparent's family started coming to the "Colonies" a couple of years after the Mayflower, and spent generations moving west.
Through my hobby of researching genealogy I've been able to contact family in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and England. Am looking for a Püschel branch in Germany, and/or ancient Selisia.
My other hobbies are quilting and gardening. I keep busy here in my very rural home.
