Formerly of Belle Plaine, Iowa and currently living in the Grand Valley area of the Western Slope of Colorado, I am passionate about genealogy, thanks to the genes of my mother and grandmothers. I engaged in a large project in 2011-2012 of scanning most every photo, document, and news clipping that were in my grandmother's two large scrapbooks, resulting in around 1,400 images. I shared numerous photo files with my hometown during its 2012 Sesquicentennial.

I appreciate the value of having photos of gravestones in order to help us create the thread that is needed in finding our ancestry.
