Born in Lansing, Michigan. Grandparents had a cottage "up north" near Frankfurt, Michigan. Spent many summers on the beaches of lake Michigan and on the waters of smaller surrounding lakes fising, swimming, and water skiing. Found many Petosky stones and loved to climb the Sleeping Bears as a kid. Finished my "childhood" in Iowa. Attended Iowa State University. Since 1988, have lived in Houston, Texas. Married since 1991. We have two wonderful boys. Several of my ancestors lived then and, forevermore in Michigan.
