Hi Family Researchers!

I am Walter O. Thompson Sr. from Ellery, Il.
I was "bit" by the genealogy bug at 10 years old. I kept asking questions (I havn't quit yet)and my Aunt Dorothy (Thompson) Nolan showed me how to organize my (chicken sctatches) notes :)
Each gathering/reunion later that I saw her she prompted me to add more information to my notes. As I grew older my notes turned into binders and they multiplied like rabbits :)
Almost 40 years later my passion has grown to around 80' of shelves of our families records and photographs.

I also collect all things that are Genealogy related :0) Family & County History books, tin types, cabinet pictures, bible records, and paperwork related to my ancestral surnames.

I also buy, sell & trade in Genealogy books, pictures (when they are not my kin) etc... on EDWARDS & WAYNE CO., IL.

I also enjoy local auctions, yard sales & flea markets. While searching for items on my families... I sometimes locate old photos & documents(not my kin) I sometimes locate descendants of the photos & documents(not my kin)found and reunite them back together.

I am curently the Animal Control Warden and Humane Investigator of 720 miles in Wayne County, Il.

I investigate complaints of animal cruelty, abuse, neglect and catching stray and abandoned animals while running at large.

I am also a rural mail carrier subsitute for 3 mail routes and a back up sub for 12 more in Wayne, Edwards and Richland Counties, Il. when they need me.
