I am a native Texan who started family research in the sixties shortly after graduation from the University of Texas at Austin. I am now retired from a career as a computer technicion. Along the way I became a Certified Computer Programmer and a Certified Genealogist. My Father was born in Scotland and my Mother whose ancestor's were mostly of Scottish descent started arriving in the colonies in the 1600's. They came to PA, VA, NC, & SC. At least seven ancestors fought in the Revolution. Five fought in the Civil War. Today I live in Georgetown, TX with my wife of 55 years and enjoy gardening, family socials and my grandchildren.
