However, sometimes the graves are very close together, and I can not stand far enough away to get both the ground and the top of the stone. No more so than at the Jewish Cemeteries in NYC. My priority is always the life cycle information and Hebrew writing on the headstone. If I leave out the very bottom of a monument, it does not offer any information. Sometimes hard choices need to be made.

If a memorial page is one of your direct ancestors, I am happy to transfer it over to you. This unless they are also a direct ancestor of mine. If this is the case, I am eager to speak with any newfound cousins.
