Find a Grave ID

Bio

I have been involved in genealogy research since 1997. My efforts have mainly been concentrated in the north Georgia, east Tennessee, North and South Carolina and Virginia areas.

I have enjoyed working with others to locate, among other sources, the resting place of their direct ancestors and other family members. As do census records, cemeteries can provide a treasure of information about family connections.

"Find A Grave" isn't a place to store genealogy records, but it is a repository for grave records. As a by-product, it has become a great tool for showing the direct line of families with the added plus of being the documented source of birth and death dates—provided there is the photo of the grave tombstone.

If you are a direct descendant of any memorial I have created, I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you. If you find an error in any of my contributions, please let me know. If I have made any mistakes, or you would like to have your family info added to their page, please contact me and I'll be happy to add it for you.

My surname interests includes: Allison, Baker, Bird, Brickey, Catlett, Caughron, Doherty, Drinkwater, Dunn, Dunwoody, Hanson, Hardin, James, Jones, Kelley, Long, Maples, McKinney, McSpadden, Monroe, Nunley, Potts, Selvidge, Stewart and Thatcher.

The surnames I research for my husband's family include: Banks, Childers, Davis, DeBoard, Donnally, Dunagan, Edwards, Holden, Jordan, Lowe, McIntyre, Mullinax, Mullins, Nelson, Peterson, Rackley, Watkins and Weaver.
