I am researching my family's genealogy (my husband's ancestors are all in Japan).

My maternal line includes the surnames: Wabschall, Samis, Nyman, Witherspoon, Anderson, Johnson. Once they arrived in the US, these families seemed to gravitate towards Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa before some made their way to California.

My paternal line includes the surnames: Tarlton, Wilson, Collins, Temple, Fain, Gordlain and Daniel. Most of these relatives were concentrated in and around the Pine Bluff area of Arknasas.
