I am descended from Michael Sanders Gould Sr. (1763 - 1809) & Elizabeth "Betsy" Post (1765 - 1840) who soon after they married migrated to Bogue Sound, Carteret, North Carolina from Scotland, United Kingdom of Great Britain in 1788. I am descended through their eldest son, David James Gould (1794 - 1865), through James Alford Gould (1828 - 1905), Green G. Gould (1855 - 1919), Noah Thomas Gould (1880 - 1957) and George Ellis Gould (1906 - 1958). I have spent years researching both my Paternal and Maternal Familial lineages and I want to facilitate others research who will follow after me.
