Bio

Just this year I began to complete geneology searches for our families and accidentaly stumbled upon this site. I have found it to be an extremely valuable source as I conduct my research. I am fascinated with looking for our ancestors and finding proof about their existence and way of life. I have always been fascinated with cemeteries; and now I have a purpose every time I can fit in a short or extended excursion to one of our local cemeteries. I love the peacefulness of wandering around cemeteries old and new. I find they are filled with positive energy. When people visit the burial site of their loved ones, although often sad, their thoughts and prayers are for peace and tend to focus on happy memories. For me that positive energy lingers and brings a comfort that is hard to explain. I am excited every time I find one of my own close or extended family members resting places; and it brings me great joy to be able to help someone that lives away to experience that joy in a picture I take. Most of the family I am searching for is in Texas, however, I am getting to the place in my research that it spreads out more to the east, but so far primarily in the south. I have been pleasantly surprised with the ability to find ancestors with very common surnames as well as our more unusual lines. Surname searches to date include: Davis/Haley/Bien/Smith/Elder/Gray/Lewis/Greer/Hennington/Good/Morgan/Jones/Simmons/Maddox & more
