I have been working primarily on West Fork Cemetery, as a recent member of the church cemetery committee. I've taken over several memorials in the graveyard. As of April 2023, I have been working on finding obituaries for those people buried in New Concord Cemetery. This effort is to bring information to the Friends of New Concord Cemetery group, which is trying to preserve the markers and uncover graves that the forest has encroached upon over time.
In May, the Calloway County Genealogy Society did a walking tour of the cemetery.
I live in Calloway County, Kentucky and have been interested in genealogy since elementary school -- a LONG time. The Adamses are, of course, a family I follow. I like to work forward, letting others work back up the ancestral line.
