I was director of the Post Memorial Art Reference Library in Joplin MO from 1982-2015. I have researched, compiled, and presented information about Joplin's historic buildings and houses. I helped establish the Joplin Historic Preservation Commission and Main Street Joplin. My research has enabled numerous buildings to be placed on the National Register of Historic Places. I have functioned as a volunteer consultant to the City of Joplin, the Missouri Historic Preservation Office, Historic Murphysburg, and the Joplin Historic Preservation Commission. I have published several books on Joplin's history and architecture. These include"Now and Then and Again: Joplin Historic Architecture" and "Joplin: A Postcard History." I am now retired and living in St. Louis MO.
