History Beese are a husband/wife research/writing duo. We're passionate about genealogy, microhistory, and cemeteries. Combining our academic backgrounds — an art/cultural historian and an archivist — we enjoy tracking down original sources and old photographs to help tell the stories of our own families and others who may have been overlooked or forgotten. In addition to being published writers, we're also musicians, performing and recording as Swarme of Beese.
