Although I was born in New York City and have lived most of my life in New Jersey, many of my ancestral families arrived in Pennsylvania and Maryland during the 1700s, moved to the western parts of those states, and subsequently migrated to Tuscarawas Co., Ohio; Lagrange Co., Indiana; and Branch and St. Joseph Cos., Michigan. I also have many ancestors from colonial New England, especially Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. I enjoy genealogy and photography, among other things; cemeteries are a favorite subject for my photography. I have a BA in Art History and an MLIS degree. I'm currently located on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
