I am a retired teacher who has always been curious about family history. My Cobb/Abner grandparents left Clay and Knox County, Kentucky and moved to Indiana, so I have enjoyed meeting my Kentucky kinfolk as I search for their families. My husband's family has lived in Parke County, Indiana since the early 1830's, and we both have enjoyed searching for his family members in the Adams aka Forks of the Creek Cemetery.
So, I guess I can say my love of learning just took a different path.
