Family genealogist for over 40 years, beginning back in the day of no digital cameras and old scratched surface Xerox machines in Libraries and County Courthouses. I've dug through loose records in attics and basements, and spent hours on the floors or bringing one heavy volume of Deeds, Wills or Minutes Books to the viewing stations, sorting through indexes and TRYING to find ANYthing related to my own ancestors or my husband's. Currently I am a member of First Families of Connecticut, First Families of Mass., First families of Alabama, Descendants of the Providence of Rhode Island, Daughters of the Indian Wars, Society of Daughters of American Colonists, National Society Daughters of 1812, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Order of Founders and Patriots of America, National Society Sons & Daughters of the Pilgrims, New England Women, Huguenot Society-Manakin, Society Desc. of Founders of New England, and Daughters of the American Revolution. I am currently the Texas State Vice Chair for the Genealogical Records Committee for the last organization, and belong to many Family Associations as well, to honor all my ancestors.
