I was born and raised in rural Maury County (Santa Fe area). I'm currently a retired high school teacher (Santa Fe School) and working 1 day a week as a bookkeeper at my church. My job before my 30 year teaching career was with the Tennessee Regional Library. It provided access to the Tennessee State Archives collection and was the beginning of my interest in geneology. I have been interested in geneology ever since. I've done extensive research on Alderson, Scott, Wiley, Caldwell, Farmer, Bohannon, and Harvey families (and related families).
