Jackson County Genealogy Library (JCGL) is operated by the Rogue Valley Genealogical Society, a not-for-profit institution.

JCGL maintains the largest genealogical collection between Portland, Oregon and Sacramento, California. This collection has become available to researchers worldwide through indexes posted on our website. We feature Oregon pioneer records and vital records (births, marriages, deaths) but regularly add new indexes and resources.

We have over 60,000 names with Birth and Death dates, Name of Cemetery, and Source. We have photos of about 40,000 Headstones, not presently on FindAGrave.

Some of our records are free, for others we charge a nominal handling fee to recover our
costs.
