I am the Great,Great Granddaughter of Rev.Malcolm Campell Conoley, Sr. My Great Grandfather was M.C.Conoley, Jr. He is buried at the Cemetery at Liberty Hill, Texas, along with my grandfather, Robert Orra Conoley and other Conoley family descendants. I first heard of the Conoley Community Church and Cemetery as a small child from my Grandfather (known as R.O. by family members). He told me that as a young man he taught school at the Church/School there in the Conoley Community. My cousin, Odell Maurice Conoley, a retired Brig.Gen. from the Marine Corp., wrote me back in the 1970's for my immediate family information. I never met him, but he evidently did extensive work and compiled a book "The Conoley Lineage" on the Conoley family. Joy Graham, of Little Bit of History, placed these records with the Lucy Hill Patterson Library in Rockdale, Texas after I copied all of them for her. Odell M. Conoley was a war hero and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery outside of D.C.
