Bio

Hello! I am a novice aspiring family historian, and got into genealogy as a way to channel the grief and depression over the loss of my father-in-law and two very special friends, all in a three month time span. In the eulogy at my FIL's funeral, there was a point made about the dash between the dates being what's important. That stuck with me, and I have found exploring the dashes of my ancestors to be quite cathartic.

Currently, I am exploring these surnames (alt spellings included):
●Strahle/Strahley/Straley/Straehle
●Gorman/Gormon/Garman
●And a few other families that married into the line such as Caplinger and Kimmell.
