Jan Tripp, is a professional genealogist specializing in Michigan and Ontario research. His genealogical experience includes completion of the NGS Home Study Course, attending Samford University's IGHR, and attendance at numerous national, state, and local conferences and seminars. He is currently a coordinator for Lake County MIGenWeb, webmaster for the Washtenaw County Historical Society, and a vice president of the Genealogical Society of Washtenaw County, Michigan. He has been a member of OGS since 1995 and belongs to the National Genealogical Society and the Association for Professional Genealogists.



He graduated from the University of Michigan with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering. In his professional life, he was a design engineer for a large auto company. He resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
