I started researching my family twenty three years ago after my mother passed away and I found I knew very little about her family.
I live in Washington State and most of the families that I research are in Missouri, Texas and Kentucky.
I have found researching my husbands and my families to be extremely exciting due to not knowing what the next turn will bring. That one piece of the puzzel that opens the door to a whole new world.
Research is so much easier now days then when my father and I first started. I hope more people will research their families. I love the statement "Lost but not Forgotton" They are only forgotton if we choose that to be !
