Bio

Wishes DO come through, CTS (#47269736), thank you for your email address...WooHoo!

Note: Please follow Find A Grave Guidelines per requesting transfers. We do not wish to enable Surname Collectors. Special cases will be considered if it shows that Requestor isn't "Collecting" Surnames.

Research in: MURPHY LEISE MARSH ELLIOTT DUNHAM MISHLER, ETC.

"limajest" is a compilation of a married couple, a son and a cousin. li-Linda, ma-Mark, je-Jean, st-Steve. We all live on farms located in Marshall County in Central Iowa. We are the Tree Gang of our Tribe. Each of us brings to the table expertise in diverse areas. This can lead to a brawl, however the outcome of our labors pleases us all! We are driven to acknowledge those who have come before us.

The ELLIOTT Tree Gang has joined the fray with information and photos: Barbara, Chuck, Starla, Terry M, Nancy B and Jim Sv, ALL from the Elliott Dunham line.

This makes us the Tree Gangs of Marshall County!

I, Linda, am a scribe for the Tree Gangs...my expertise in computers and software makes it so.

NEWEST UPDATE (12/01/12): A Sreadsheet of the Liscomb Cemetery has been done for all but a few burial locations. A walk-through is planned before handing this information over to free websites. The walk-through will help us note any gravestones added later/after original transcriptions. IF your loved ones have no burial location information, you can leave a message; we will provide that information to you. When we have completed checking burial locations, markers, etc., we will let all know what site will be housing the information on the Liscomb cemetery.

UPDATE: Over this winter (2011-12) our mission is transcribing the Liscomb Cemetery, Marshall County, Iowa Cemetery Book. All notations preserved and additional information we find researching through Ancestry.com.

A LISCOMB CEMETERY BURIAL MAP has been created for online researchers with the approval of the town of Liscomb. GO TO:

www.marshallcotreegangs.com

PLEASE NOTE: This map is for the express use of researchers. Not to be used in any way for profit. A disclaimer is on the PDF.

END DATES are noted by the original journalists of the Cemetery Book as either date of death or burial. If you have information that a date is burial, not death, please let us know. Thanks!

NO MARKER was written in the Cemetery Records on some burials that now have gravestones. So don't accept this as a current condition. Family and Friends are known to provide stones at a later date. Gravestones have been replaced and/or added throughout the years.
