Bio

My father was born and raised in Stockton Alabama; and after WWII, he moved his family back to Baldwin County. I've been part of this area since the age of two and consider Baldwin County to be my 'home.' My father was a great family storyteller. So, it is through his storytelling that I grew to appreciate my heritage. However, it was not until my retirement in 2008 that I actually gained the time to delve into the Hall Family history in Baldwin County. Oddly enough, I've always been interested in old cemeteries, because cemeteries are reminders of those who have gone before us and are a snapshot of history. After I moved back to Baldwin County in 2008, I assumed the responsibility of caring for the original Hall Family Graveyard just off Highway 225 in Baldwin County. My cousin Wilson Hall had cared for the family graveyard for many years until his death. Wilson passed on his findings about our ancestors, and I hope to be able to pass on additional information which is on Ancestry.com. So, if you are a descendant of Charles Hall I, my 5th great-grandfather from Effingham County Georgia and Charles Hall II, 4th great-grandfather of Spanish Florida and later Baldwin County Alabama, please let me hear from you.

I moved to Nashville in 2014 but continue to maintain the Hall Family Cemetery. My sister Lynne Hall Hardy lives in Bay Minette and also continues to help maintain the family cemetery.
