Bio

I am a retired cashier. I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I live in Tuscaloosa, AL with my husband. I've been interested in genealogy since the early 70's. In 2000 I figured I could put all my info together into a computer. In 2008 I lost over 3,000 names and many of their photos and stories due to my computer crashing. Needless to say I became disenchanted with genealogy, with the thrill of a new bit of info, lost interest in the search. Now I'm searching for new ways to preserve what little I have in memory and on paper and I can see Find A Grave as a helpful source. When I visit the local cemeteries, I usually get photos of several markers of people I do not know. If I don't find them already here I make sure to add them and will gladly transfer any that are not in my Virtual Cemeteries.
