Bio

I first learned about findagrave as a joke when I was working at Vital Records. It seemed funny and it was such a long time before I actually checked it out. Since I did, I have absolutely loved it. I think that it is a wonderful addition to anyone who is seriously researching their own family.

I love to see families linked to one another. I have been responsible for seeing to it that many of my linear family members have been connected to other family members. One line can go back five generations just by following the links. It is exciting and I like to introduce others to this site.

In the family history that I am compiling, I have made sure that I identify family member's Memorial numbers as I think that this is important.

I am especially interested in the Lemon family who came from NJ to Northumberland County, PA. In the next generation, the family did not move, but Columbia County was broken off from Northumberland and it became their family home county. Many of them moved west, and the family from whom I descend is the John Kline Lemon family of Mercer County, IL. The family is pretty much no longer represented in Mercer County, except for burials in many Mercer County cemeteries. A cousin William also came to Illinois and his descendants are found buried in the Sugar Grove Cemetery in Mercer County. We have not kept in touch with these Lemons at the third or fourth generation level. They know little about their Columbia County, PA roots and we know nothing about them.
