Since retirement from many careers, including teaching, antique shop, real estate agent, municipal secretary, I have spent years as Secretary-Treasurer of the Waterloo Cemetery Company. Our committee of volunteers is responsible for maintaining the Waterloo and Frost Village Cemeteries in the Eastern Townships of Quebec,Canada. The support of my husband, Douglas Beakes, and his help verifying the old records and entries to this site have made this project very worthwhile. My love of Genealogy keeps me from aging so fast.
