When I first joined this site I was very impressed. According to the mission statement: "Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience." Unfortunately many individuals are turning this site into a genealogical resource site. They are adding lineages while providing misleading information as to where an individual is actually buried. In more than one case I have learned that, after several hours/days of research that the individual was buried in a different location from that indicated. This is very disappointing and can be confusing when trying to locate the final resting places of ancestors. My philosophy is less quantity and more quality. For any memorial that I create I have actual knowledge, and try to include proof, that the individual is actually interred there, either through an image of the headstone or an official record.
