I was born and raised near Houston, TX. Most of my family (both maternal and paternal) were native Texans dating back to before the Republic of Texas when it was Mexican territory. I travel all over the East and Central Texas areas and am willing to research and help with photos for others.

I'm currently working on my husband's family as well. His grandfather and great grandfather were Tennessee natives. Most of his great grandfather's early records are from Marion County and he is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Jasper. I'm hoping to find his roots.

I currently live on Lake Palestine in East Texas near Tyler. I am a retired nurse and have recently become very involved in family history. It has quickly become an addiction!
