Bio

My intrest in genealogy started when I found letters my grandmother,Sarah Yeakl wrote to an Indiana newspaper for 45 years. She wrote these letters to the "Geneva Herald"for the benefit of those parts of families that stayed in Indiana. My grandparents moved to Michigan in 1909. Usually, I do my research in the winter months and travel, to the different states where I have found ancestors, in the summer months.I was approved for membership in the "Sons of the American Revolution in 2015. The Patriots name is George Yeakle who was in the Frontier Army of Northumberland County Pennsylvania.
