I am the great-grandaughter of Seymour McDougal, (June 12, 1868-November 1968) of Essex County, NY, who died at the ripe old age of 100. Seymour relocated to Florida in the 50's, along with two of his daughters, Irene McBride and Mina Knowles and his son and my grandfather, George McDougall. In old newspaper articles my family's name is also spelled MacDougal.

I became interested in genealogy after visiting a cousin in Elizabethtown, NY, whom I'd never met.
