I am a 7th-generation Georgian, raised in the southeast Atlanta Georgia community of Lakewood Heights in the 1950s-1960s. Served 4 years active duty in the US Navy in the late 1960s. Worked for Southern Bell Telephone Company, later BellSouth Telecommunications, later AT&T, in various positions for many years. Retired to North Georgia area in 2015.
