I am the daughter of John William Davis. His father is Victor F. Davis and his mother is Helen Hurst(Lapping)Davis. Helen's parents are: Susan (Cravens) Lapping and William J. Lapping. Victor's parents are: John C. Davis and Kathryn Davis.Except for John all the relatives lived in and around Hardinsburg, Indiana.
I would be interested in any stories about my ancestors.
My Dad's cousin was David Davis who lived in Hardinsburg and was buried in Hardinsburg old Unity Baptist Cemetery.
Unfortunately, we will be bringing my father's remains to Hardinsburg Cemetery soon. He was cremated (as were his parents).He died June 2, 2008.
