I have been doing genealogical research for about three years, in the process encountering many "brick walls". What a wonderful feeling when one of these walls crumbles. My mother's forebears are all from the New England area, going back to the 1600s; some are from Nova Scotia -- these "brick walls" I doubt I will ever live to see crumble, as the names are common, and I have very little information to go on. I'd love to help in any way possible for others to locate ancestors in my area. I live near Frederick, MD, not far from Westminster, and not too far from Gettysburg, PA. (although that would be a day trip). Baltimore and Annapolis are also within range.
