I Susan (Rodabaugh) Hanley was born in Findlay, Hancock Co. Ohio, at the age of 6 we moved 10 miles south to Arlington. I am now living back in Findlay, with my wonder husband Shane who grew up in Fostoria, and we have two teenage daughters Jennifer and Laura. We are living in the home that my Grandfather Floyd Rodabaugh built, and lived in when God called him home in 1968. When cleaning out the attic we found a large basket of my ancestors,photographs. No idea who any of them were and only a few with names. After my Father Donald E. Rodabaugh was called home, I found a book of the Rodabaugh family tree by Grace (Rodabaugh) Pister. With the book and the photographs, I became addicted to genealogy.
I came by Find-A-Grave quite by accident one day, and what a wonderful site. I thank Jim Tipton for starting it. This is a wonderful way of preserving our History.
Yes I have become addicted to cemeteries, and the people resting in them. Alot of people on
F.A.G. work very hard, I look at myself as a care taker of the past generations, for the future generations. I am not a F.A.G. member to see how many I can add, but try to find out about each one that I can. Only certain people made it into the History books of Hancock Co. but it took all the people to make it, everyone has a story that needs to be told. So if I have someone that you, hold the story to. E-mail me send me a message, I am, and never will hold on to someones family, or friend, and keep History from being told. I WILL TRANSFER TO ANY ONE WHO HAS MORE INFORMATION, ON A PAGE!!
