Bio

At seven years old Amy enthusiastically read cover to cover a book on the history of Highgate Cemetery. She did not understand why her third grade teacher would not let her turn in a book report on Highgate.

After the death of her Aunt Arline, she discovered geneology, and considers seeing the gravestone for her greatgrandmother the closet thing she will ever get to seeing her.

Most recently she has discovered herself taking up other people's geneology - especially trying to find families of the children who died at orphans homes. Her next project will be trying to identify some names to go with the numbers at the poor farm.

Amy is originally from Maysville, Kentucky but currently lives in Bloomington Illinois. She is of Swedish decent - although only 5' 2" and has freckles.

She still loves Highgate, but her favorite local cemetery is Grassy Ridge.
