I just recently found the "Find A Grave"site and decided to try it out. After requesting a photo of an Uncle's grave marker,a lovely volunteer,Barbara LeClaire, went to the cemetery and in a few days I had the photo. What a good way to help each other out. I signed up as a volunteer in my area and I've already received my first request. I'am really excited!!
About me. I'm a 59yr old married woman and live on a 52 acre farm of mostly cows & horses.We are located in the North west part of Georgia and live next to the Alabama state line.Our three children are grown & married. We have 6 grandchildren which we enjoy so much. I was born & raised in Southern California,but Georgia will always be home to me. We have lived here since 1981,& plan to stay.I have been doing family research off & on for over 35yrs and this site will be an added bonus. Betty
