Bio

I'm a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution with the Captain Joseph Ogle Chapter of Ogle County, IL. I live in Polo, IL where my husband and I farm 600 acres and have an Angus beef cow herd. I also drive school bus for Head Start. I have been doing genealogy for about 10 years. I have been a research volunteer for 5 years while continuing to work on my own family.

My biggest genealogy event to date (2008) has been reuniting a 92 year old man with his 90 year old sister that were separated at ages 4 and 2 and put into an orphanage and foster care. Although unrelated to this man I am quite proud to have played a roll in helping them find each other and reconnected them to their family history and roots that they thought they would never have.
