When I was a child, all my relatives were thrilled that they were "related" to the British M.P. Richard Cobden. When I retired I thought I'd explore that relationship as no one knew exactly how we were connected. Turns out, it's a pretty distant link. But in researching this supposed connection I found a fascination with genealogy. In fact, there are some pretty interesting people even if they're not famous. Most of the people I've entered on Find A Grave are in some way related and I probably have information on their lives. I'd be happy to share my research.
