Sammie Townsend Lee began her family research in 1979. For over 30 years she worked as a Library Associate for the Dallas Public Library, 20 of those years in the Genealogy Department and 10 in the Dallas History and Archives Department helping others with their family history. Sammie is a native of Dallas, Texas. In November 2008, she relocated to Waxahachie, Texas and volunteers at the Ellis County Museum.
