My family history quest began after my husband and I were married. We received a Bible as a wedding gift. The Bible had pages for relatives' vital statistics and a pedigree chart of our ancestors. I realized I knew nothing about my or my husband's families beyond our grandparents. So I started gathering information and my family history project blossomed from there. No one on either side of our families had done any research so it was all new ground to cover. I love the research and finding new tidbits of information. I thank other researchers and family members for all the information and photos they have shared with me. I started out with almost nothing and now have some great stories and photos. Find a Grave has been a great resource in my search. I have tried to add information from my own research, hoping that it will help others who are also looking to gather information on their families. I will gladly transfer memorials to other relatives unless they are my family.
