I was born in Stillwater, OK and grew up in Midwest City, OK. My parents are Robert and Effie (Jorns) Carlisle. Both of my grandparents homesteaded in Oklahoma. I am very interested in genealogy and would enjoy visiting with anyone who connects with Carlisle, Jorns, Foglesong or West families.

My wife Judy Shelby Carlisle and I now live in Spring Hill, TN. Before moving to TN in 2005 we lived in CO for 18 years. I volunteer as the historian/genealogist at the Lotz House Museum in Franklin, TN.
